Offsite Movie Screening: Destination Moon

In conjunction with the exhibition Dreaming the Universe, Pasadena Central Library will be screening two classic science fiction movies this summer in the Donald Wright Auditorium.

Don’t miss Destination Moon, on Saturday, June 23 at 2:00 pm. This 1950 film by George Pal is based on the story by Robert Heinlein. Radio personality and film historian Warren James (Hour 25) will introduce the film and share the movie’s history.

Mark your calendars to join us again on Saturday, August 25, 2:00 pm for a screening of The War of the Worlds, based on the story by H.G. Wells.
